In the May 11 issue of The Roadrunner, the featured sports story focused on the TOPSoccer program that provides young athletes with either physical or mental disabilities an opportunity to compete and get out on the field instead of being relegated to the sidelines.
The program, which has taken root here in Valley Center, has been exceedingly well received and it is growing substantially as this is being written. The opportunities to be a part of this growing concern either as a player, buddy or coach are available to anyone and everyone that would like to get involved. More information and insights into the program can be found by going to the website www.valleycentertopsoccer.com.
